The first years of his life he spent at the Elbe river in Hamburg-Kirchwerder (Vier- & Marschlanden), then attended elementary school in Hamburg-Neustadt, the high school in Hamburg-Altona, moved into his first apartment in Hamburg-Winterhude and completed his first education - shipping agent - at Hapag-Lloyd. After years of travelling, he also lived briefly in the neighbourhood of the famous Reeperbahn, and now for more than 10 years in Hamburg-Altona.
He travelled to South & North Amercia, for his civilian service to Heide in Holstein, as a Student of Applied Cultural Studies to Lüneburg and Pavia / Milan, as a Doctoral Student to Vienna & Sicily and finally for his Studies of Free Art to Kiel.
To his work as a tour guide he came by chance on an art excursion in Italy: it was his job to guide his fellow students through the medieval Arezzo. The consequences were the possibility for some studies in Italy and the training as a tour guide. More than 20 years have passed since his first guiding.
